JOHN SAURO NAMED 2011 CTAMB DIRECTOR
BRANFORD, Connecticut (December 17, 2010) – John Sauro of Pound Ridge New York was sworn in last night as Director of the Connecticut Association of Mortgage Brokers (CTAMB). There were several continuing board members as well as two other new members sworn in at their Annual Meeting and Holiday Party at The Woodwinds in Branford, CT. Connecticut Department of Banking Deputy Commissioner, Alan Cicchetti was in attendance and installed the 2011 board.
The CTAMB is the state affiliate to the National Association of Mortgage Professionals, (NAMB) and is committed to serve Connecticut mortgage professionals by offering educational courses and seminars for its members. With all of the changes in banking and mortgage operations, Sauro will focus on legislative efforts to work with the U.S. Congress Financial Services Committee and CT, NY elected officials in helping shape laws to protect consumers.
“Once I made up my mind to accept the position, I knew it was where I needed to be now. There is so much going on in the legislative arena related to mortgages, I need to be involved to help the industry get back on track,” says Sauro. “Consumers deserve to be served by competent and ethical mortgage professionals.”
